The Team

You’ll be part of the Operations team within Network Control and the wider Integrated Control Centre, operating 24/7 to manage a fleet of aircraft and maintain operational performance.

The team works closely with maintenance, ground handling, flight crew, Crewing, and Customer teams to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation, keeping delays and disruption to a minimum.

Network Control is made up of a highly dedicated and experienced team responsible for safety, compliance, and delivering the highest quality service. The team comprises 28 Officers across 5 teams, each led by a Senior Operations Officer.

 

The Role

As an Operations Officer, you’ll proactively manage the fleet, Flight Watch, and operational performance, ensuring timely communication across all stakeholders. You’ll monitor weather, runway slots, and operational systems (ACARS, TOPS, AIMS) to mitigate disruption, manage maintenance planning, and optimise aircraft usage.

This is a high-pressure role requiring strong decision-making, planning, communication, and operational awareness.

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be an average of fourteen shifts per 28 days, with 12-hour shifts, typically from 6.30am to 6.30pm.
