Our client is an aviation maintenance organisation operating in a regulated Part-145 environment. They are seeking an Avionics Engineer to support aircraft maintenance activities and ensure work is completed in line with approved procedures and airworthiness requirements.
Position
This position is responsible for carrying out and supporting avionics maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing avionics maintenance in line with approved maintenance data and organisational procedures
- Completing required documentation in accordance with approved procedures and work package requirements
- Ensuring compliance with the organisation’s MOE and internal procedures applicable to certifying/support staff (including CRS where applicable)
- Ensuring the intended authorisation scope remains within the limits of the applicable licence
- Supporting aircraft type endorsement requirements in line with the relevant regulations
- Completing required technical and safety training and applying it in day-to-day work
- Following internal procedures (including MOE requirements) applicable to maintenance and support staff
- Complying with customer/operator procedures as applicable (e.g., ATL, work cards, work packages, inspection items, deferred items procedures, MEL training)
- Participating in competency assessments and any additional training identified during assessments
Requirements
- Minimum age: 21
- Hold a valid aircraft maintenance engineer licence (EASA Part-66 or equivalent) in Category B2 (preferred) or B1/C, appropriate to the intended authorisation.
- Must be type-rated on Airbus A330 and A320 (B767 preferred).
- Proven maintenance experience on A330/A320 aircraft (line and/or base maintenance, as applicable).
- Demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience (as applicable to authorisation category):Recent maintenance experience meeting the stated recency requirement (including a minimum period within the specified timeframe prior to authorisation issue)
- 3 years maintenance experience for line maintenance certifying staff in category “A”
- 5 years maintenance experience for line maintenance certifying staff and base maintenance support staff in category “B1”, “B2”
- 8 years maintenance experience for base maintenance certifying staff in category “C”
- Holds a valid Class 3 medical certificate (renewed as required)

- Holds a valid Class 3 medical certificate (renewed as required)
